Culinary Leadership Role

Seeking an experienced and passionate culinary leader to join our team on a full-time basis. Working closely with the Head Chef, this position will be responsible for developing innovative dishes, mentoring kitchen staff, and overseeing restaurant operations.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead and support kitchen team members in delivering exceptional food quality and consistency.
  2. Oversee the performance of kitchen team members, maintaining high standards of presentation, sanitation, service, and product quality.
  3. Collaborate in menu creation, including cost analysis, to ensure optimal profitability.
  4. Manage inventory levels and oversee back-of-house food and labor expenses.
  5. Implement procedures to ensure exceptional presentation, sanitation, service, and product quality.
  6. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and food standards.
  7. Recruit, train, and roster all kitchen team members.
Requirements
  • Hold relevant Certificate III Cookery qualifications.
  • Prior experience working as a Sous Chef or equivalent role.
  • Strong leadership skills, with experience leading and motivating a skilled team.
  • Ability to work under pressure within a dynamic team environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
