Mobilize is seeking a seasoned and qualified HSE professional to fill a permanent position in Perth.

This role is perfect for an ambitious HSE practitioner looking to take their career to the next level who is comfortable reporting directly to Executive Management.

Responsibilities include:

  • Developing, implementing and managing project HSE plans and strategies
  • Creating, updating, reviewing and managing project risk registers and HSE schedules
  • Analysing safety data and producing reports highlighting opportunities for process improvement
  • Conducting regular audits and inspections to ensure ongoing improvement
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant legislative requirements
  • Assisting line management with incident investigation and reporting within set timelines
  • Supporting the development of training materials including pre-start and awareness training content
  • Implementing and scheduling HSE education and training programs
  • Occasional site visits are required
  • General HSE administrative tasks

Required skills and qualifications include:

  • At least 3 years' experience in a similar role or sector
  • Cert IV / Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety
  • Up-to-date knowledge of HSE Legislation
  • Ability to recommend improvements and changes along with system implementation
  • Strong communication skills to effectively engage with workshop floor staff through to senior management
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • High attention to detail with ability to complete own administrative tasks
  • Ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to pass pre-employment medical and D&A
