Industry Engagement Specialist

About the Role

The team is recruiting for a key position that supports strategic employment and industry engagement goals. The successful candidate will be responsible for building relationships with manufacturing businesses, coordinating workforce development programs and partnerships, and supporting the delivery of community services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Building relationships with local businesses through site visits and engagement.
  • Coordinating workforce development programs and partnerships that promote inclusive workforce participation.
  • Supporting the delivery of community services, including stakeholder coordination and project management.
  • Contributing to the delivery of business network programs and events.
Requirements

We're looking for someone who has demonstrated knowledge and understanding of economic development, business services, or a related field. Proven experience in industry engagement and delivering workforce development initiatives is essential. Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills across diverse sectors are also required.
