Operational Excellence Manager Role

An exciting new opportunity has arisen for an Operational Excellence Manager to join our team. As a key member of the ACES team, you will drive process excellence within our Last Mile Delivery business.

You will contribute to the optimisation of our Delivery Station operations, providing teams with knowledge and tools to improve performance. This is a highly collaborative role where you will work to solve complex problems with simple and practical solutions by developing a deep knowledge of operation processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to audit initiatives and support results-driven action planning
  • Deploy Process Standard implementations and upgrades within the delivery station partnering with station management and several stakeholders
  • Develop and pilot process improvements and ongoing benchmarking initiatives
  • Train station management on technical configurations to drive accurate reporting and productivity boosts
  • Manage day-to-day operations of a Delivery Station during peak time, providing leadership to Operations Supervisors, Assistants and Delivery Service Providers, and managing external agency relationships and performance

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Advanced Excel and SQL coding skills
  • 3+ years of continuous improvement experience
  • 3+ years of cross-functional work with tech and non-tech teams
  • 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics
  • Expertise in Lean Management, Six Sigma and other Operational Excellence tools

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of program or project management experience
  • Data analysis skills with tools such as Minitab, JMP, Asana
  • Data visualization tools (Power BI, QuickSight)
