Job Description:

The role of Capability Business Partner is to support the development and coordination of organisational capability needs, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and compliance requirements. This involves working closely with HR, operational leaders, and subject matter experts to ensure capability requirements are understood, documented, and reflected in learning strategies.

This includes conducting annual skills gap analyses, translating workforce data into actionable learning priorities, and developing consistent processes and tools for capturing, reviewing, and maintaining capability data across departments.

The Capability Business Partner will also provide specialist advice and support on L&D systems configuration, process design, and governance, ensuring accurate data capture and reporting.

Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resource Management, Training or Education (desirable)
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (desirable)
  • Proven ability to educate, influence, coach, mentor and forge strong stakeholder relationships based on informed, sound advice
  • Demonstrated exceptional verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills to deliver strategic advice to a broad customer group
  • Personal resilience and self-awareness combined with business and financial acumen
  • Able to model high standards of ethical and professional behaviour and act with integrity and confidentiality
