We're seeking a friendly and enthusiastic individual who is ready to put the customer at the centre of everything they do. The successful candidate will have experience in customer service and/or cash handling, be fit to lift up to 16kgs of mail regularly, and stand for their shift.

About the Opportunity

As our Retail Customer Service Officer, you'll work in one of our Australia Post Offices, interacting with customers daily and providing them with excellent service. You'll handle transactions accurately, manage high-value transactions, and promote our products and services through up-selling and cross-selling.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform customer sales and service transactions with customers
  • Manage high-value transactions accurately (handling and processing cash, cheques, credit cards, and EFTPOS)
  • Conduct and process identity services transactions, including Australian Passport Interviews
  • Promote our products and services through merchandising and other promotional activities
  • Assist customers with mail lodgements and associate costs
