Job Title:

A seasoned Project Director is sought to oversee our team in Western Australia.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading teams, achieving key performance indicators, and controlling costs while maintaining high-quality standards.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide guidance and training to Estimator Supervisors
  • Guide the team to meet monthly budgets and key performance indicators
  • Create scopes of work with accurate costings
  • Recruit, manage, and maintain sub-contractors
  • Maintain effective communication with the National Construction Manager and clients
  • Contribute to the financial viability of projects by managing cost control and quality
  • Adopt a flexible approach to work, promoting multi-trade environments to avoid duplication and follow-on work
  • Ensure compliance with statutory legislation, including health and safety policies
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and represent the company in a professional manner
Requirements:
  • Experience leading a team
  • Trade qualifications highly desirable but not essential
  • Ability to diagnose and prioritize specific work activities and tasks
  • Understanding of insurance repairs highly desirable
  • Proficient technology skills and ability to learn new systems and software
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work individually and as part of a team, sharing knowledge and experience
  • A positive attitude towards work
  • Fully valid driving license
  • Cert IV or Diploma in Building & Construction desirable
