Delivering exceptional residential experiences is at the forefront of this role. As an Assistant Residence Manager, you will lead a team to ensure seamless day-to-day operations, drive sales and marketing initiatives, and foster strong relationships with students and external partners.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and mentor your team to maintain a smooth-running residence, focusing on cost-effective facilities and maintenance services.
  • Oversee all sales opportunities and ensure maximum occupancy through short-term and long-term lets.
  • Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to fill residences and optimize marketing channels.
  • Maintain the property's presentation through regular inspections and collaboration with the facilities team.
  • Provide excellent customer service and handle complaints effectively.
  • Nurture relationships with key stakeholders at local universities and internal/external suppliers.
  • Ensure a seamless operational calendar and student lifecycle from arrival to departure and summer turnaround.
  • Manage health and safety responsibilities in accordance with relevant legislation.
Qualifications:
  • Relevant experience supporting residence operations in hotels, hospitality, or student accommodation.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on building quality relationships.
  • Passion for delivering outstanding student experiences.
  • Demonstrates behaviors consistent with our values of integrity, commitment, and energy.
  • Experience in fast-paced, target-driven environments with a strong focus on sales and marketing.

Preferred qualifications include Carbon Literacy training.
