You will be responsible for increasing technical capabilities by enabling sales and technical sellers to demonstrate IBM Technology Across Identity and Access Management (IAM), Infrastructure Delivery (HashiCorp), and Network Automation. Role and Responsibilities">
  • Facilitate pre-sales technical activities such as technology demonstrations and co-creation working sessions that lead to proofs of concept (PoC) and/or minimal viable products (MVPs).
  • Lead the delivery of joint-learning activities to build technical skills and expertise of partners, enabling co-selling opportunities.
  • Continuously expand essential business, industry, technology, architecture, and competitive knowledge in Kubernetes, Red Hat, Docker, Cloud Foundry, Cloud Native Security, and Infrastructure.
  • Encourage a growth-minded culture, co-creation, and technical eminence to deliver value that leverages industry, brand, and portfolio expertise to drive innovations that accelerate partners' success.
  • Create strategic plans for clients, focusing on infrastructure, applications, and automation solutions.
  • Define practical IBM Automation solutions that enhance existing technology stacks with a focus on Identity & Access Management (Verify), Network Automation (SevOne/NS1), and Infrastructure Delivery (Hashicorp Vault & Terraform).
  • Provide proof of concepts and simplify technical concepts to ensure client comprehension.
  • Establish credibility and trust with clients, which is essential for closing complex technology deals.
Required Skills and Qualifications">
  • 3-5 years Technical Expertise within the IAM and/or Infrastructure Automation and/or DevOps market: Demonstrable technical subject matter expertise within your field with the ability to engage in complex, architectural conversations and deliver on proof-of-concepts as part of the pre-sales cycle.
  • Excellence in Communication and Collaboration: Provable excellence in people, communication, and collaboration skills, with a track record of networking and influencing, at all levels, throughout the successful closure of complex technology sales cycles (ranging from $250k to multi-million-dollar deals), achieved both independently and through teamwork.
  • Attention to Detail and System Usage: Proven discipline and attention to detail with the usage of sales management and recording systems, as well as efficient expectation setting and follow-up practices.
  • Change Business Goals Into Technical Solutions: Translating business objectives into technical solutions and offering guidance on technology strategies.
  • Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven record of influencing a wide range of stakeholders.
