About this role
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our marine team as a cruise attendant. This is a unique opportunity to work on various products such as sailing adventures, reef exploration, or resort connections.
Your responsibilities may include:
- Greeting and assisting guests while prioritising their experience and safety
- Delivering exceptional food and beverage service
- Conducting safety briefings and presentations
- Maintaining stock control and performing daily reconciliations of consumables
- Ensuring vessel housekeeping and cleanliness
About You:
The ideal candidate will be genuine, personable and capable of demonstrating hospitality to the highest standards. They should be physically fit to work in a demanding environment, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting.
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- Strong guest service skills and experience
- Reliable, self-motivated and proactive
- A keen eye for detail and commitment to high standards
- Intermediate to advanced swimming abilities
- The capability to work within a team environment
Requirements:
- Hospitality qualifications and previous marine experience highly regarded
- Elements of Shipboard Safety / GPH or higher
- QLD Responsible Service of Alcohol
- QLD Working with Children's Check (Blue Card)
- National Police Check
- Provide First Aid, CPR and Advanced Oxygen Therapy
- Bronze Medallion and crowd management certificates highly regarded
