Job Title: AppBank Operations Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated AppBank Operations Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our 24x7 operations team, you will play a critical role in supporting the business application of Goldman Sachs using cutting-edge systems and processes.

The successful candidate will have opportunities to work at the forefront of technology innovation alongside industry leaders and make significant contributions to the field.

Your primary responsibility will be to analyze and resolve application issues, identifying defects, discrepancies, and trends through code debugging or log analysis, managing incidents, and improving application stability and performance.

You will also adopt various tools developed by our engineering team to automate failures using machine learning techniques and notify discrepancies in production health and automation of health-restoration.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze and resolve application issues

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field

5 years of software development experience with proficiency in one of the following programming languages: Java, C, C++, VB, .NET, ASP or Angular

Experience in one of the following RDBMS environments: Sybase ASE/IQ, Oracle or DB2

Good communication skills to articulate technical and functional aspects of a development/production problem
