Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Workpack Preparer (E&I) with proven Oil & Gas Maintenance experience to join our Operations business in Darwin, Northern Territory.

About the Role

This is an anticipated permanent role supporting one of our key clients in the region with a start date in the 1st quarter of 2025.

The ideal candidate will be an Australian citizen or eligible to hold Permanent Residency (PR) and willing to work lawfully in Australia. We also encourage those with visa applications already in progress to apply.

Wood Plc's Operations APAC (West) business delivers brownfields engineering, procurement, construction, maintenance, optimization, and technical services to the Oil & Gas sector.

We enjoy long-term partnerships with prominent producers located in Western Australia, Northern Territory, and Southeast Asia.

What You'll Do
  • You will have proven experience in multidiscipline fields within the Oil & Gas sector in Australia.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills – both written and verbal.
  • Demonstrated supervisory and administration skills necessary to organize and manage large project scopes.
  • Able to maintain composure under pressure, while delivering within a challenging and complex environment.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Workpack Preparer (E&I) in the Oil & Gas sector.
  • A demonstrated commitment to safety.
  • Previous experience in commissioning engineering and coordination working in a project multidisciplinary team.
  • Suitable qualifications such as an Electrical & Instrumentation degree from a recognized institution or equivalent tertiary qualification.
Compensation Package

We offer a competitive salary package, estimated at $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
