Wood Plc, a global leader in consulting and engineering, is seeking expressions of interest from experienced Workpack Preparers (E&I) with proven Oil & Gas Maintenance experience to join our Operations business in Darwin, Northern Territory.

We are looking for an Australian citizen or someone eligible to hold Permanent Residency (PR) to work lawfully in Australia. Those with visa applications already in progress are also encouraged to apply.

The successful candidate will be currently based in Darwin / willing to relocate to Darwin.

Ideally you will have a suitably qualified Electrical & Instrumentation engineer degree from a recognized institution or tertiary qualification along with 5+ years of proven experience in the Oil & Gas sector in Australia working within multidiscipline fields.

In addition, you will have:

  • A demonstrated commitment to safety
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills – both written and verbal
  • Previous experience in a role of commissioning engineering and coordination working in a project multidisciplined team
  • Demonstrated supervisory and administration skills necessary to organize and manage large project scopes
  • Well-developed computer skills and knowledge of databases, spreadsheets, and engineering programs
  • Ability to maintain composure under pressure, while delivering within a challenging and complex environment
