About the Role
We're seeking a skilled Production Manager to join our Meat Production team at Coles Group. As a key member of our Supply Chain team, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our meat processing facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with third-party meat processing facilities to monitor and manage production processes and activities.
- Support the delivery of production plans, customer feedback reports, and waste trends.
- Manage site stock reports, ordering, and outbound capacity to ensure optimal levels of stock and materials are maintained.
- Ensure all products meet Coles quality standards, food safety requirements, and labelling and packaging regulations.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and optimize productivity.
- Use dashboards, data, and reports to monitor and improve defined performance metrics.
About You
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- Experience in the beef industry managing a high-volume food production or factory operation facility.
- Experience in Meat boning and slicing.
- Experience delivering on financial and service targets.
- Experience managing quality control and production schedules.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage stakeholders across all levels.
- Experience in scheduling, production planning, and load planning.
