Staff Engineer Opportunity

We are looking for a talented Staff DevOps Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable software solutions that meet the needs of our customers.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless collaboration and communication. Your technical expertise and leadership skills will enable you to mentor junior engineers and provide guidance on complex technical challenges.

  • Ongoing System Optimization: Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, ensuring optimal system efficiency.
  • Scalable Architecture: Design high-performance software solutions aligned with project requirements and company standards.
  • Monitoring and Security: Improve logging and monitoring for the system, maintaining security and safeguarding against vulnerabilities.
  • Technical Leadership: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, driving technical excellence within the team.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10+ years of hands-on experience in software engineering, focusing on scalable system design and development.
  • Proficiency in multiple programming languages and frameworks relevant to the role (e.g., Terraform, NodeJS/Typescript).
  • Hands-on experience with NATS or similar messaging systems is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in Kubernetes or equivalent container orchestration platforms.
  • Proficiency in cloud platforms (preferably AWS).
  • Solid experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., AWS Code Pipeline, Github Actions).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to tackle complex technical challenges.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration across teams and stakeholders.
  • Understanding of security best practices and implementation.
  • Strong sense of accountability and ownership, come with an attitude of getting stuff done.
