Lead Hotel Operations at PULLMAN Cairns International

Located in the heart of Cairns City, PULLMAN Cairns International is a landmark property within the prestigious Accor Group. Our iconic hotel features 324 luxurious rooms with stunning waterfront and mountain views, along with 13 versatile conference spaces, making us a prime destination for both business and leisure travellers. Our impressive three-story lobby, with its marble flooring and dazzling glass chandeliers, embodies the 5-star luxury that defines the PULLMAN brand.

We're seeking a dedicated Operations Manager to lead, support, and enhance our hotel operations. This role not only provides a unique chance to make a significant impact but also serves as a pathway to becoming a Hotel General Manager within the Accor Group.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with department heads to ensure seamless operations and drive strategies that align with our property's strategic and sales goals.
  • Partner with the General Manager and Executive Committee to set and achieve annual revenue targets, while overseeing departmental functions and managing budgets.
  • Lead the team, enhance employee engagement, and keep everyone aligned and motivated.
  • Provide regular updates on operational achievements and key issues to the General Manager.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of leadership experience in a luxury hotel setting.
  • Business Administration degree, with a focus on Hotel and Restaurant Management or a related field.
  • Strong background in Front Office, Housekeeping, and Food & Beverage, and a keen focus on excellence.
  • A strong passion for hotel operations and a solid grasp of emerging industry trends and innovations.
  • A drive for tackling challenges and exceptional problem-solving skills.
  • Confident and articulate communication, negotiation, and networking skills.
