Job Overview

We are seeking a professional to fill the role of Schematic Plans Coordinator.

This position involves creating and maintaining accurate schematic plans for Youth Justice Custodial Services (YJCS) and other facilities.

  • Create and update YJCS and other DJCS locations schematic plans and evacuation diagrams using advanced CAD programs and skills
  • Conduct site visits at YJCS and CV facilities, as well as other DJCS locations as required
  • Liaise with stakeholders in the development of schematic plans and evacuation diagrams

To be successful in this role, you will have demonstrated experience and knowledge of Autodesk (AutoCAD), Autodesk Revit, Microsoft Office suites, and/or Photoshop programs. You will also have the ability to operate or learn to operate specialist technical equipment related to the scanning of rooms, operation of cameras, and photography equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Developing, maintaining and updating YJCS and other DJCS locations schematic plans and evacuation diagrams
  • Attending at YJCS and CV facilities, as well as other DJCS locations as required
  • Liaising with YJCS management, location staff, planning authorities, and external stakeholders

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Demonstrated practical experience and knowledge of Autodesk (AutoCAD), Autodesk Revit, Microsoft Office suites, and/or Photoshop programs
  • Ability to operate or learn to operate specialist technical equipment
