As a Store Refurbishment and Construction Manager at Retail Food Group, you will be responsible for managing the refurbishment and construction of retail stores across our brands. You will work closely with our franchise partners, landlords, and suppliers to deliver high-quality results.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of fit-out or commercial industry practices, with excellent communication and project management skills. You will be able to work effectively in a team environment and prioritize multiple tasks to meet deadlines.

In this role, you will be responsible for assessing and creating scopes of works based on brand standards and landlord requirements, as well as creating cost estimates for new, refurb, and small works. You will also attend meetings with clients/project managers and designers, and take full ownership of the cost management of projects including general administration of PO's, invoices, and everything in between.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and create scopes of works based on brand standards and landlord requirements.
  • Create cost estimates for new, refurb, and small works.
  • Liaising with builders, trades, and suppliers via phone and email.
  • Attending meetings with clients/project managers and designers.
  • Take full ownership of the cost management of projects including general administration of PO's, invoices, and everything in between.

Experience & Competencies:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role.
  • Fit-out or commercial industry experience is essential.
  • Knowledge on mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical building components.
  • Shopfitting background or trade background and franchisor experience is advantageous but not essential.
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
  • An ability to work well in a team environment & autonomously.
  • Be able to trouble shoot and solve problems quickly. Effective time management and attention to detail.
