Urgent Care Specialist

The role of an Urgent Care Specialist is a challenging opportunity to deliver high-quality primary health care services at Ripley Satellite Hospital.

This position requires a candidate who can provide emergency medicine despite limited onsite investigations available.

As an Urgent Care Specialist, you will be responsible for providing clinical services in a service that is innovative, encouraging participation in treatment and care aimed at achieving demonstrable improvement in patient outcomes.

Key responsibilities include delivering quality care in a primary care environment, outpatients setting, and an Emergency Department across a variety of acuity and care needs.

Mandatory requirements include being vaccinated against certain vaccine-preventable diseases as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO.01/16.

About You
  • A passion for providing excellent clinical care to your community.
  • Experience in delivering quality care in a primary care environment, outpatients setting, and an Emergency Department.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills across various settings, including emergencies.
