Job Title: Health and Safety Lead
We are seeking a skilled professional to oversee our national health, safety, environment, and quality initiatives during a temporary absence of our existing WHSEQ professional. This role is critical in maintaining a safe, compliant, and positive workplace culture across our Australian operations.
The position is for a short-term duration, which may be 3, 6 or more months. The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of ISO standards and WHSEQ system implementation.
Key Responsibilities:- Drive awareness and compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations across all sites.
- Maintain and update health, safety, and environmental systems and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards.
- Lead incident investigations and risk management activities.
- Conduct site inspections, internal audits, and training sessions.
- Support project teams with safety documentation and compliance.
- Liaise with regulatory bodies and escalate critical issues as needed.
- 5+ years' experience in WHS, Environmental, and Quality Systems.
- Strong knowledge of ISO standards and WHSEQ system implementation.
- Experience in construction, electrical, AV, or telecommunications industries.
- Skilled in incident investigation and root cause analysis.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel interstate.
