Contaminated Land Expert

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Contaminated Land Expert. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and analysing data, reporting and presenting findings to clients. You will also contribute to securing new work by identifying, creating and converting opportunities through proactive client relationship management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage assigned projects to ensure they meet defined project objectives (i.e. meet client and regulatory requirements, timeframes, budget etc.) and regularly communicate with stakeholders.
  • Utilising your previous experience and technical background to deliver high quality work in the areas of contaminated land assessment and management.
  • Mentoring, training and inspiring junior staff.
Requirements:
  • You will have previous experience (6+ years) in consulting for contaminated land.
  • A Bachelor's Degree or higher degree in either Environmental Science, Geology, Soil Science or Geochemistry.
  • Certified Env Practitioner (CEnvP) or Certified Professional Soil Scientist (CPSS) is preferred but can be certified within 12 months of employment.
  • Project Management experience in a consulting environment.
  • Sound understanding of statistical approaches for contaminated land assessments.
  • Basic understanding of Geographic Information System programs such as QGIS, ArcGIS or similar.
