About the Role:

This senior consulting role requires technical delivery expertise, mentoring skills, and hands-on experience in contaminated land investigations.

  • A minimum of 6 years of experience in consulting for contaminated land is required.
  • Work will involve leading investigations from start to finish, interpreting results, and managing client and supplier interactions.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Delivering high-quality work in contaminated land assessment and management.
  • Managing assigned projects to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Analysing data and presenting findings to clients.
  • Contribution to securing new work through proactive client relationship management and identifying opportunities.
  • Mentoring junior staff.

To excel in this role, you should have:

  • Specialist knowledge of contaminated land and working towards qualification as a Contaminated Land Suitably Qualified Person.
  • Project Management experience in a consulting environment.
  • Ability to prepare contaminated land investigation reports independently.
  • Sound understanding of statistical approaches for contaminated land assessments.
  • Basic understanding of Geographic Information System programs.
  • Site inspection and field work capability.
  • Experience in managing field staff and mentoring junior staff members.
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Environmental Science, Geology, Soil Science, or Geochemistry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
