Job Description

As a Virtual Health Clinician, you will provide critical support to individuals in need of healthcare assistance. Your role will involve offering guidance and advice on various health-related matters.

The Healthdirect Helpline is a 24/7 service that provides health-related advice over the phone. You will be responsible for assessing symptoms, conducting comprehensive telephone assessments, and recommending appropriate care.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Unrestricted registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA
  • At least 3 years of clinical experience as a Registered Nurse
  • A varied nursing background involving substantial public contact
  • Exceptional communication skills and ability to interact with vulnerable population groups
  • Proficiency in using computer systems, including telehealth platforms and digital communication tools
