We specialise in delivering acute hospital-level services to patients in their homes.
In collaboration with funders, we develop cutting-edge programs powered by clinical expertise and technology, all designed to relieve health system pressures and enable greater access to healthcare.
About this opportunity Join Amplar Health Home Hospital where flexibility meets impact.
Working onsite at our Virtual Care Centre located in Eastwood (South Australia) on a full time or part time fixed term basis.
Participate in a 7-day rolling roster, working 8-hour shifts between 7am and 10pm.
Be part of a clinician-led environment where we value your expertise, well-being and professional voice.
Contribute to virtual health initiatives by: Exercising your experience in the clinical diagnosis, investigation, treatment, and ongoing management of acute conditions.
Managing acute presentations in the community of conditions, such as but not limited to, cellulitis, community acquired pneumonia; exacerbation COPD, VTE and complicated UTI.
Collaborate with a broad multi-disciplinary team to support holistic patient centred care Access to professional development and mentoring.
About you We are looking for Consultants/GP's that: Have full unrestricted AHPRA registration as a medical practitioner with at least 5 years' experience as medical registrar, General Practitioner and/or with specialty interest.
Can apply theoretical knowledge and practical experience to determine the appropriate clinical diagnosis, investigations, and treatment of patients with acute conditions, in line with clinical risk and compliance frameworks.
Have confidence in providing virtual care; confidence in reviewing biometric data trends to assist with early identification of deterioration will be highly regarded.
Have a high level of professionalism, with the ability to relate well with people of all interests, background and abilities and a commitment to delivering exemplary care to our patients.
Hold a South Australian Working with Children Check and National Police Clearance (or are willing and eligible to obtain).
