Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned project manager to lead the delivery of projects within the Energy & Resources Program. This role is responsible for planning, managing, and delivering key project outcomes in accordance with the Bureau Delivery Model.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute project plans, including financial and resource forecasting, to ensure timely delivery of project outcomes.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to identify and mitigate risks, and deliver project outcomes that meet stakeholder expectations.
  • Maintain project artefacts following prescribed standards and contribute to improvements in project management governance, processes, and templates.
  • Ensure the application of the Bureau's Commitment to Diversity & Inclusion in all work activities.
  • Comply with Bureau work, health, and safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for staff, contractors, and visitors.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a degree or diploma from an Australian educational institution, or a comparable overseas qualification, and have advanced project management skills. The candidate should be able to tailor project management methodologies to suit each project's unique characteristics.
