Job Description

We are seeking a Surveillance Digital Technician to enhance our security operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for utilising the latest surveillance and security technology to protect our assets and personnel.

The selected individual will have experience with enterprise CCTV and access control systems, as well as installation, servicing, and commissioning experience with Gallagher, Honeywell EBI, and Avigilon VMS.

Responsibilities:
  • Resolve faults, maintenance requests, and equipment failures within the Surveillance CCTV system and associated surveillance systems.
  • Provide technical support and training to operational teams using any surveillance managed systems.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance on CCTV cameras and systems, including hardware replacement programs.
  • Assist with system updates throughout projects to reflect the operational layout of the system.
  • Collaborate with the Surveillance leadership team on various projects, ensuring timely completion.
  • Maintain compliance with regulatory and WH&S requirements.
Requirements:
  • Experience with enterprise CCTV and access control systems.
  • Installation/Servicing/Commissioning experience with Gallagher, Honeywell EBI, Avigilon VMS.
  • Capability to install electronic & IP based security components, maglocks, electric strikes, card readers, CCTV cameras etc.
  • Certification in CCTV Installation or Security Equipment is highly regarded.
  • Experience with IP Networking, Windows Administration (Active Directory), Electronic repairs and fault finding.
  • Strong understanding of relevant statutory regulations and reporting requirements.
  • Ability to ensure compliance with business policies and procedures.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Currently hold or ability to obtain a KE license.
  • Available to work a full-time Monday to Friday roster with flexibility to attend callouts.
