Digital Security Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Digital Security Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring threats, responding to incidents, and coaching developers on secure coding practices.

This is a hands-on position that requires strong communication skills and a passion for coaching developers. You will work closely with engineering squads and security specialists to identify vulnerabilities, tune defences, and uplift the overall security posture of our applications and platforms.

You will have the opportunity to work across various technologies and platforms, including cloud-based systems. We are looking for someone who is proficient in one or more programming languages, such as Java, C#, or TypeScript, and has experience working with edge security platforms like Cloudflare or Akamai.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor threats and respond to incidents in real-time
  • Coach developers on secure coding practices
  • Work with engineering squads and security specialists to identify vulnerabilities and improve the security posture of our applications and platforms
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement security measures and best practices
Requirements:
