About the Job:
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, diagnosing equipment issues, and ensuring seamless production operations.
You will work on various mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems, carrying out routine inspections and repairs as needed. Your expertise in electrical and mechanical skills will enable you to troubleshoot and resolve complex problems efficiently.
In addition to your technical knowledge, you will also collaborate with colleagues to install and commission new equipment, support supplier partner selection, and promote safe working practices within the team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to develop their skills and contribute to a dynamic production environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform regular maintenance activities to prevent equipment downtime
- Diagnose and repair faults in mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to install and commission new equipment
- Support supplier partner selection and procurement processes
- Promote safe working practices and adhere to health and safety guidelines
- Good GCSE passes in Maths and English
- Engineering Apprenticeship NVQ3 - HNC Diploma
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations plus Compex Cert Ex01-06
- Portable Appliance testing trained
- Mechanical/electrical experience preferably in an environment handling hazardous chemicals
