About the Role

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be part of a small team responsible for performing proactive and reactive maintenance on factory machinery and infrastructure to minimize downtime.

Vital skills include ensuring work is completed in line with recognized codes and practices.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Carry out preventative/planned maintenance activities.
  2. Respond to equipment breakdowns and diagnose faults.
  3. Work on mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical equipment.
  4. Collaborate with colleagues to install and commission new mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical equipment.
  5. Support the supplier partner selection process.
Requirements
  1. Good GCSE passes including Maths and English.
  2. Engineering Apprenticeship NVQ3 – HNC Diploma.
  3. 18th Edition Wiring Regulations plus Compex Cert Ex01-06.
  4. Portable Appliance testing trained.
  5. Mechanical/electrical experience preferably in an environment where hazardous or flammable chemicals are handled.
