Assistive Services Role:

This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, assisting with food preparation, meal delivery, and laundry services. As an Assistive Services professional, you will be responsible for ensuring residents receive high-quality meals that meet their nutritional needs.

About the Position:

We are seeking a highly motivated and team-oriented individual to join our staff as an Assistive Services Assistant. In this role, you will work closely with our Chef to prepare and deliver meals to residents, maintaining a clean and safe dining environment. Your duties will also include performing laundry shifts as required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and serve high-quality meals to residents
  • Deliver meals to residents in a timely and efficient manner
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas
  • Perform laundry tasks as assigned

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in a similar role or roles, preferably in an aged care setting
  • Knowledge of food preparation and handling procedures
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Awareness of WHS guidelines and HACCP protocols
  • Tertiary qualification in food preparation/commercial cookery (desired)
  • Ability to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination
