Key Position Details:
- Employment Type: Permanent Full Time.
- Position Classification: Clinical Psychologist, Occupational Therapist Level 3, Social Worker Level 3.
This is a stimulating position to deliver high-quality mental health services to children and adolescents within a multidisciplinary team. As a skilled professional in this field, you will provide treatment and support for families by applying early intervention philosophy and principles.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver family-based intervention and therapeutic models to infants, children, adolescents (0-18 years) and their families/carers.
- Provide expert advice and education to enhance service delivery and guide others in providing exceptional service.
- Develop and lead quality improvement initiatives and service evaluation processes.
- Conduct acute/non-acute assessments including risk management.
- Professional qualification in either Social Work (eligible for membership of AASW), Occupational Therapy with current registration with AHPRA.
- Clinical psychologists require full registration with the Psychology Board of Australia (Psy BA), with endorsement in Clinical Psychology (or eligibility to progress towards same), along with a minimum two-year full-time APAC-accredited postgraduate Masters or Doctorate degree in clinical psychology.
- Extensive experience in delivering family-based intervention and therapeutic models by applying early intervention philosophy and principles to infants, children, adolescents (O-18 years) and their families/carers.
