This is an exciting opportunity to work as a Data Management Specialist within our team. As a key member of the Business Management Directorate, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring effective data management practices across the Defence fuel network.

About the Role

">

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Management Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating, developing and delivering data management deliverables, including information management policy and procedures, trend analysis data and provision of advice to emerging capability requirements.

The ideal candidate will have experience in data stewardship roles, with a keen eye for detail and strong data analysis skills. They will also be capable of working with a wide range of stakeholders, possessing excellent communication and time management skills. Additionally, they should be proactive, organised, flexible and adaptable, with a desire to learn and acquire new skills and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities

  • ">
  • Coordinate and develop data management deliverables, including information management policy and procedures, trend analysis data and provision of advice to emerging capability requirements.">
  • Manage data libraries for various reports, including library maintenance, storage, archival and upkeep.">
  • Coordinate and report outcomes of data validation / assurance of Performance Management Framework self-reported results from Contractors.">
  • Maintain quality of data using feedback, concerns, questions; evaluating and identifying issues; and coordinating and implementing corrections regularly.">
  • Manage Corrective Action Requests related to data validation / assurance.">
