About Defence Design

We're seeking a motivated Designer to join our Defence team, contributing to the delivery of complex projects across Australia.

As a key member of our Defence team, you'll be responsible for planning and executing design strategies that meet project objectives. You will work collaboratively with senior staff to ensure seamless project delivery from early design through to construction.

This role offers a chance to apply your design expertise to projects of national importance, working closely with Defence clients, consultants, and contractors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality design solutions for Defence projects.
  • Collaborate with senior staff to plan and execute design strategies.
  • Maintain strong relationships with Defence clients, consultants, and contractors.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in Defence design.

Requirements:

  • 3–5+ years' experience in Defence design or related field.
  • Proficiency in Revit, Adobe Suite, 3D software, Microsoft Suite.
  • Well-developed design skills across all project stages.
  • Solid understanding of building codes, standards, and regulations.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • A collaborative mindset.
