Senior Defence Design Lead

This is a senior-level role focused on delivering defence projects with a strong emphasis on managing multidisciplinary design teams within the defence estate.
The ideal candidate will have a tertiary qualification in engineering, architecture or a related field and experience in leading high-performing design teams. They will also possess Australian Government Security Clearance at Baseline level or higher and be able to obtain it if not already held.
About This Opportunity- Develop and implement design management plans that meet project requirements.
- Provide technical coordination and delivery of design solutions throughout the defence design phases.
- Ensure the quality of design deliverables meets both end-user and functional requirements established in the project brief.
- Technical coordination and delivery of the design solutions throughout Defence's design phases.
- Development, implementation, ongoing management and ownership of Design Management Plans.
- Responsible for the Quality of design deliverables.

Requirements- Appropriate tertiary qualification in engineering, architecture or a related discipline.
- Experience in managing multidisciplinary design teams with a focus on the Defence Estate.
- Australian Government Security Clearance at Baseline level or higher (or ability to obtain).
- Understanding of Defence's design requirements, approaches and standards.
