Job Opportunity: Senior Occupational Therapist

About the Role:

We are seeking a motivated and dynamic individual to join our team as a Senior Occupational Therapist. The successful candidate will work in a specialist care setting, providing support to patients with spinal cord injuries and neurological conditions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • To assess and treat patients within our trust, including home visits when required.
  • To assist senior therapists in service development and provision of quality services.
  • To take responsibility for members of staff and delegate duties as necessary.
  • To meet occupational therapy/rehabilitation service objectives.
Requirements:
  • A diploma or degree in occupational therapy is essential for this role.
  • The successful candidate must be currently registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • Evidence of relevant postgraduate courses and continuing professional development (CPD) is desirable.
  • Substantial clinical experience since qualifying is a key requirement.
  • Experience in a specialist field as a Band 5 therapist is preferred.
