About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Sales Operations Analyst to join our Enterprise Sales team at Vocus Communications. As a key member of our Sales Operations team, you will play a critical role in enabling our sales teams to achieve their sales and revenue performance objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Forecasting and Pipeline Reporting: Drive forecasting and pipeline reporting and insights to support sales governance and enable our sales team and related Business Units to better understand the health of the business.
  • Operational Process Improvement: Identify, establish, manage and improve operational sales processes that drive better business outcomes and improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the Sales Team.
  • Representing Sales Interests: Represent Sales interests and challenges back to broader Sales Enablement and VNS team for process improvement.
  • BU Governance and Risk Management: Support BU governance & risk management, ensuring Delegations of Authority (DOA) is up to date and followed.
Reporting and Data
  • Ad-hoc Reporting: Prepare ad-hoc reporting to support business insights and questions.
  • Regular Review of Reports: Regular review of various cross-BU reports and data to monitor the Order to Bill cycle and collate key calls-to-action or insights for the sales team.
Drive Salesforce Hygiene
  • Triage Support: Triage support for Enterprise Sales team and assign to or engage resolver teams as needed.
  • Lead Support for Sales Teams: Lead support for Sales teams in their day-to-day use of Salesforce.
  • Manage Customer Hierarchy: Manage customer hierarchy, portfolio/account moves and Salesforce process exceptions within nominated framework.
  • Conduct Data Hygiene Checks: Conduct regular data hygiene checks on Salesforce and report data hygiene statistics.
  • Support Salesforce to Billing Account Matching: Support Salesforce to Billing Account matching.
Provide Operational Support
  • Operationalise Sales, Marketing and Product Initiatives: Operationalise Sales, Marketing and Product initiatives and track and report performance.
  • Act as a Business SME: Act as a business SME on cross company programs.
  • Support Other Activities: Support other activities and processes as required.
  • Guidance of Enterprise Sales Operations Analysts: Guidance of Enterprise Sales Operations Analyst(s) in task and program of work assignment.
Requirements
  • Proven Experience: The successful candidate will have proven experience in a similar role and environment, with experience in sales reporting and interpreting commercial data.
  • Outstanding Stakeholder Management: Outstanding stakeholder management and relationship building skills.
  • Advanced Excel and Salesforce User: Proven advanced Excel user and Salesforce user (preferably an admin level).
  • Strong Business and Process Knowledge: Strong business and process knowledge.
  • High Attention to Detail: High attention to detail and appreciation of broader business context and direction.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving Skills: Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • People Leadership Experience: People leadership experience.
  • Australian Government Security Clearance: You may be requested to attain NV1 Australian Government Security Clearance; applicants must hold current Australian citizenship status to meet governmental criteria for NV1 Baseline Clearance.
