We are seeking a highly skilled Data Transformation Lead to join our team at Optus. As a key member of our Data Office, you will be responsible for managing and delivering data transformation and modernization programs within the Optus IT Division.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and define program requirements through accurate customer expectation establishment and business interest analysis.
  • Define, detail, and document program scope and specifics.
  • Analyze tasks and develop accurate schedules to fulfill program results.
  • Identify, analyze, and refine program costs to produce a budget.
  • Monitor, review, and report program quality and results.
  • Identify and formulate a risk management plan for a program and assure program continuity.
  • Successfully manage business initiatives and senior business partner relationships.
  • Ensure customer experience parameters are driven to conclusion within programs.
Requirements
  • Professional qualification or equivalent in Business, IT, Engineering, or other aligned fields, complemented by professional certification (e.g. PMP, Prince2, etc.).
  • Hands-on experience managing capital programs within the IT/Telecommunications or Financial Services sectors, with formal training in Project Management.
  • Delivery using Agile/Iterative methodologies, with strong financial and business proficiencies.
  • Demonstrated success in directly leading large, sophisticated data programs.
  • Consistent experience in successfully supporting a delivery team in a matrix reporting environment.
  • Proven track record in coaching, mentoring, and developing team members; successfully supporting performance to achieve continuous improvement of team capabilities.
