Job Description

Our organization is seeking a highly skilled SHEQ professional to drive the implementation of our SHEQ systems, audits, and performance across the Group. This is a critical role that will have a significant impact on our safety, innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, maintain, and monitor SHEQ management systems, including Myosh and other platforms, to ensure seamless integration and high performance.
  • Lead and support the implementation of Group-wide SHEQ Strategy through project deliverables and Group SHEQ audit program.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on SHEQ systems, audits, and risk management, providing guidance and support to business units.
  • Monitor legislative and compliance changes and implement required system and process updates to ensure ongoing compliance.
  • Support business units with project SHEQ deliverables, ensuring high performance and compliance.

The ideal candidate will be a confident SHEQ professional with a proactive mindset, who thrives in dynamic environments.

They must have a strong understanding of relevant legislation and international SHEQ standards, as well as experience improving SHEQ performance and implementing integrated management systems.

Requirements:
  • Diploma in WHS (or equivalent minimum).
  • Lead Auditor qualification in safety, environmental, and/or quality management systems.
  • Minimum 7 years in a senior SHEQ role, with at least 5 years of auditing experience.
  • ICAM investigation training.
  • Proven experience improving SHEQ performance and implementing integrated management systems.
  • Deep knowledge of relevant legislation and international SHEQ standards.
  • Experience supporting project delivery and business transitions.
  • Current National Police Clearance.
  • Valid First Aid, CPR, and White Card.
  • Australian 'C' Class Driver's Licence.
