We are seeking a skilled and experienced Handyperson to join our team at Lorna Jane HQ in Eagle Farm, Queensland, Australia.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for performing general repairs and upkeep on property, structures, facilities equipment, and grounds at Lorna Jane HQ and local retail stores.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide maintenance and upkeep to Lorna Jane HQ and local retail stores.
- Report any areas of concern to the Maintenance Manager and implement preventative maintenance measures.
- Assess and repair equipment and furnishings in office/warehouse areas.
- Perform minor building, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and painting repairs.
- Maintain an inventory of repairs to equipment and store locations.
- Clean and maintain company vehicles to reflect the company image.
- Maintain HQ grounds and signage.
- Sourcing and delivering building materials, tools, and other items as required.
- Previous experience in general maintenance/handyperson in a professional environment.
- Valid Driver's Licence.
- Forklift Licence (Preferred).
- Ability to travel interstate when necessary.
- Knowledge of the Workplace Health & Safety Act and relevant fire safety regulations.
- Experience in safely operating a variety of equipment, including hand tools and machinery.
- Skilled in organising and establishing priorities and working to time schedules.
- Trade qualification in cabinetmaking, carpentry, or similar.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a predominantly female environment.
