Job Title: Handyperson

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Handyperson to join our team at Lorna Jane HQ in Eagle Farm, Queensland, Australia.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing general repairs and upkeep on property, structures, facilities equipment, and grounds at Lorna Jane HQ and local retail stores.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide maintenance and upkeep to Lorna Jane HQ and local retail stores.
  • Report any areas of concern to the Maintenance Manager and implement preventative maintenance measures.
  • Assess and repair equipment and furnishings in office/warehouse areas.
  • Perform minor building, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and painting repairs.
  • Maintain an inventory of repairs to equipment and store locations.
  • Clean and maintain company vehicles to reflect the company image.
  • Maintain HQ grounds and signage.
  • Sourcing and delivering building materials, tools, and other items as required.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in general maintenance/handyperson in a professional environment.
  • Valid Driver's Licence.
  • Forklift Licence (Preferred).
  • Ability to travel interstate when necessary.
  • Knowledge of the Workplace Health & Safety Act and relevant fire safety regulations.
  • Experience in safely operating a variety of equipment, including hand tools and machinery.
  • Skilled in organising and establishing priorities and working to time schedules.
  • Trade qualification in cabinetmaking, carpentry, or similar.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a predominantly female environment.
