Sleep Medicine Data Specialist

The role involves data collection in a clinical setting, accompanied by data entry and coding on a day-to-day basis. Additionally, tasks may include:
- Managing and maintaining accurate and up-to-date research files
- Assisting patients in setting up CPAP treatment protocols
- Collecting and analyzing research data with participants and key stakeholders
- Undertaking quantitative analysis of datasets under supervision
To excel in this position, you will need to possess:
- A genuine interest in sleep medicine and/or previous experience working with individuals with complex needs
- A high level of attention to detail, ensuring accurate scheduling, data collection, and record keeping
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a cohesive team
You will also require strong interpersonal skills, effective verbal and written communication, sound time management, and the capacity to meet deadlines while delivering high-quality outcomes. Additionally, you will need to demonstrate adherence to ethical guidelines and project protocols, analytical skills, and the ability to exercise initiative and sound judgment when dealing with sensitive information and confidential matters.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, statistical analysis software packages, and the Endnote referencing system is essential. Self-motivation and flexibility are highly valued in this role.
