Job Title: Learning Specialist Range 3Job Description:

The Learning Specialist is a critical role in building excellence in teaching and learning within the education sector. The ideal candidate will have high-level expertise in teaching and learning practice, with a strong ability to model exemplary classroom practice.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement whole-school improvement strategies related to curriculum planning and delivery.
  • Lead the development of professional learning structures, processes, and protocols through Professional Learning Communities.
  • Supervise and train student teachers, and mentor/coach teaching staff to enhance their effectiveness and development.
  • Provide evidence-based feedback to inform teaching approaches and support continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with school leadership to develop a shared vision of highly effective teacher practice.
Requirements:
  • High-level expertise in teaching and learning practice.
  • Ability to model exemplary classroom practice and lead others in doing so.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Capacity to work collaboratively as part of a team.
