Senior Release Engineer

As a seasoned release engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and timely deployment of software releases. This is a critical role that requires excellent organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams.

  • Develop and manage detailed release plans, defining scope and timelines, and ensuring coordination across engineering, QA, operations, and product teams.
  • Act as the release liaison between engineering, testing, operations, and business stakeholders to guarantee seamless integration and deployment.
  • Identify and mitigate risks related to technical failures, security vulnerabilities, and potential business disruptions.
  • Communicate clearly with internal and external stakeholders, providing regular updates on release status, potential issues, and changes.
  • Ensure quality standards are met and releases comply with internal policies and established procedures.
  • Monitor the success of each release, collect feedback, and identify opportunities for improvement.
Requirements
  • Experience managing complex release cycles in a fast-paced SaaS environment.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions and Jenkins with Azure.
  • Knowledge of database deployment practices, including dacpacs.
  • Comfortable working with testing tools like Cypress, Postman/Bruno, and Rainforest QA.
  • Understanding of logging and observability tools, particularly Elastic (ELK Stack).
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate across globally distributed teams.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • A continuous improvement mindset and a passion for building efficient, scalable processes.
