Job Title: IT Change and Release Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Change and Release Manager to oversee the planning, implementation, and coordination of changes to our government IT systems and services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Change Management: Plan, approve, and implement changes to minimize disruption and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Release Management: Schedule, coordinate, and deploy software releases, patches, and updates in line with government policies and procedures.
  • Risk and Impact Assessment: Evaluate risks, impacts, and benefits of proposed changes and releases, ensuring appropriate mitigation strategies are in place.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure all changes and releases undergo testing, validation, and quality assurance processes before deployment.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed records of changes and releases, producing regular reports for senior management on performance, compliance, and outcomes.
  • Service Transition: Manage the transition of new services and systems from development into live environments, ensuring they are fully operational and meet required service levels.
