About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Chief Supply Chain Optimizer to join our team in Port Kembla. As a key member of our Painting and Finishing Department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effective supply of materials to support seamless production.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a degree in materials science, engineering or a related field, as well as strong analytical skills and experience with inventory management, planning and supply chains.

You will be working closely with a supportive and close-knit team who are passionate about delivering operational excellence. We offer a competitive salary and participate in the company incentive program, as well as opportunities for career development and progression within BlueScope.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide the key link between Operations and Production Planning and Scheduling Teams to ensure continued supply
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners
  • Guide and recommend solutions when issues and new challenges arise
  • Explore opportunities for process improvements across the department, making recommendations
