Job Summary

An Armed Security Officer is sought to provide site security and ensure the safety of clients and their assets.

About the Job

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be flexible to work 12-hour rotating shifts, and possess a current Category H Handgun License and Armed Guard endorsement on their security license.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with emergency situations via CCTV until resources are deployed
  • Manage access control and monitor alarms/fire systems to ensure site compliance
  • Communicate with emergency services and police as needed
  • Maintain security and visitor logs, weapons register, and lost/found register
  • Write daily activity reports
  • Use MS Office and security software (Gallagher, Genetec, Tecom)
  • Provide excellent customer service
