Community Wellbeing Officer

The Ipswich Community Development Strategy 2021-2026 serves as the foundation for this role, aiming to enhance social and community wellbeing outcomes among young people in Ipswich.

Key responsibilities include facilitating actions from the strategy, coordinating the Ipswich Youth Advisory Council, identifying local community needs, and supporting community centres to deliver impactful social programming.

As a key member of the Community Wellbeing team, you will engage with stakeholders to drive positive change and collaborate effectively to achieve desired outcomes.

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • Relevant qualifications in Community/Youth/Human Services and/or equivalent experience
  • Substantial experience in engaging effectively with young people and other stakeholders
  • Excellent communication skills building strong collaborative relationships with stakeholders
  • Current Queensland C Class driver's licence
