The Role

This exciting opportunity exists within our organization, reporting directly to Team Leader Customer Engagement. As a Vacancy & Occupancy Coordinator, you will play a critical role in filling Supported Independent Living (SIL) vacancies across the state, leveraging internal and external relationships to promote Activ's suite of services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with referrers, decision-makers, and families to develop a robust pipeline of leads.
  • Build and nurture extensive relationships with customers and their families, ensuring a deep understanding of their needs and preferences.
  • Secure and manage NDIS funding for customers, tailoring services to their individual needs and funding capabilities.
  • Negotiate effectively with planners to address customers' support needs.
  • Develop a comprehensive knowledge of Activ's accommodation services and vacancies state-wide.
  • Analyse market trends and customer needs to develop growth strategies and enhance service delivery.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability).
  • A First Aid Certificate.
  • A valid Driver's Licence.
  • A National Police Clearance.
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check.
  • NDIS Worker Orientation Module.
