As a compassionate and dedicated healthcare professional, we are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Emily Gardens. Our residential aged care facility is located in The Rock and offers a supportive environment where you can make a positive impact on the lives of our residents.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing and be able to lead a care team to deliver high-quality, person-centered care to our residents. You will assist with preparing care plans and assessments, ensuring safe medication management, best practice wound care, and clinical support for our residents. Additionally, you will support the Clinical leadership team with care assessments to ensure appropriate funding and engage in handovers with the Clinical Care Team for continuity of care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a care team to deliver high-quality, person-centered care to residents.
  • Assist with preparing care plans and assessments.
  • Ensure safe medication management, best practice wound care, and clinical support for residents.
  • Support the Clinical leadership team with care assessments to ensure appropriate funding.
  • Engage in handovers with the Clinical Care Team for continuity of care.
  • Adhere to relevant legislative requirements and quality guidelines.
Required Skills and Qualifications

We are looking for an individual who has registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse and 2-3 years' experience in aged care (ideal). Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as well as the ability to work effectively within a team and delegate tasks. A strong understanding of Resident Rights and Aged Care Accreditation Standards is also required.
