About the project
Seeking a skilled Project Civil Engineer to drive complex projects forward and ensure timely, cost-effective delivery of rail track and systems upgrades, bridge replacements, road works, civil structures, and utility modifications. Flexible location options available in central NSW.
- Facilitate safe and compliant delivery of project works.
- Ensure project delivery schedule targets and planning requirements are met.
- Monitor and report on contractor performance and progress of operational readiness, quality, safety, and environmental objectives.
- Coordinate across the delivery team and broader Inland Rail project team to ensure consistent, compliant, and strategic approach to delivery planning and documentation.
- Coordinate with independent verifier and assist with administration, engagement, and compliance with third-party agreements.
- Degree in civil engineering or equivalent qualifications.
- Proven experience in large, complex infrastructure projects.
- Ability to work in an organized manner and possess excellent written, oral, and presentation skills.
- Strong problem resolution and interpersonal skills.
- Commercial acumen and knowledge of contractor management practices.
