Assistant Store Manager Job Description

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our team. As an Assistant Store Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the Store Manager to achieve sales targets, maintain a positive work environment, and ensure the smooth operation of the store.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales Performance: Assist the Store Manager in achieving sales targets by providing excellent customer service, implementing effective visual merchandising strategies, and monitoring stock levels.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a high-performing team, provide coaching and development opportunities, and foster a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Operational Efficiency: Ensure the efficient day-to-day operation of the store, including visual merchandising, stock control, loss prevention, and performance reporting.
Requirements
  • Proven Retail Experience: A minimum of 2 years' experience in a retail management or leadership role, with a proven track record of delivering results.
  • Leadership Skills: Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to motivate, inspire, and develop a passionate and high-performing team.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Strong knowledge of automotive retail, including visual merchandising, stock control, loss prevention, and performance reporting.
